The Bugatti Chiron, the successor to the famous Veyron hypercar, has captivated many in and outside of the realm of automotive enthusiasts. Not only is the Chiron a work of art on four wheels, but it also holds a record for being a production car that reached the 300 mph (and beyond – 304.773 MPH) mark in its Super Sport form.
Such a vehicle like the Chiron remains a dream for most and is only attainable by those fortunate enough to fork over millions for an opportunity to own such a vehicle. The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, a vehicle that we’ve had the opportunity to see in person on many occasions, thanks to our local automotive connection to a good friend of ours, is one of the special ones with only 60 examples of such a vehicle made at a cost of around $4 million. Seeing such a vehicle come for sale is a rare occasion and an opportunity for those in a rather peculiar financial situation to obtain.
A special, actually – they are all very special – 2022 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, the more track-focused Chiron, has come up for auction on Bring a Trailer, where it looks to bring in well over $4 million. At the time of publishing this post, the vehicle stands at $3.8 million with just over one and a half hours left on the bidding war.
