We were honored to be a part of something great for our city of Jacksonville to give back to the community through the Police Athletic League (PAL). Upwards of nearly 60 cars packed into the Malone Air Charter at Craig Municipal Airport early Saturday morning for a departure at 9am with the help of Police (JSO) escorts shutting down sections of I295 for a safe cruise around the loop.

Through the Excellerate Jax event and many generous donations, supporting sponsors, and giving hearts, the money raised, over $174,000 in total, will help the enrichment that the Police Athletic League (PAL) of Jacksonville instills in youth through educational, athletic and leadership programs.

We hope the Excellerate Jax event returns next year as we will make plans to support this good cause once again.

About Excellerate Jax

EXCELLERATE

Sissine’s Office Systems Presents EXCELLERATE, a one-of-a-kind Police escorted ride where the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office will shut down I-295 for high-end cars to take a lap around the beltway in the name of charity. The public can get in on the action the night before at an exclusive EXCELLERATE pre-party at Malone’s Air Charter at Craig Municipal Airport. Check out all the hot cars before they hit the road, meet the owners, enjoy some great food and spirits, and support a great cause.

THE CAUSE

The Police Athletic League (PAL) of Jacksonville enriches the lives of children by creating positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the youth of our community through educational, athletic and leadership programs. Serving up to 1,000 children after school each day, from some of the most underserved neighborhoods in the city, PAL turns the prime time for juvenile crime into a safe learning time for young people to develop leadership skills from positive adult role models and greater respect for the law.

THE NEED

What started in the trunk of one police officer’s car has grown to serve more than 2,200 children each year. In a time when families are increasingly unable to instill a proper appreciation and respect for the law, when parents are working harder than ever with less time than ever to even put food on the table, communities must come together to reach more children. With your support, we can continue to keep kids out of trouble, building good citizens, more successful adults, and a better future for all of us.
