Gran Turismo 5 Showcases the Toyota FT-86G Concept

While many of us are sick and tired of waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to be released, they have teased us to death with clips of the hot new cars to be included in the new game for PS3. The Toyota FT-86 is another item that we just cannot wait for. GT5 has released a trailer of the FT-86G, a “Sports” Concept version of the FT-86 Concept. The video below shows the FT-86G all trimmed out like you have never seen before in hi-resolution glory on the PlayStation 3. The engine still does not sound like the typical Subaru flat-4 but look at that front-mount intercooler! Hmmm. Enjoy the video and extremely high-resolution (8MP) images below!

Ever since I picked up the new Forza Motorsport 3 game I cannot put it down. Every time I see a Forza 3 commercial air on the TV I have to power up my Xbox 360 to take a new supercar for a spin. No doubt that the upcoming PS3 game, Gran Turismo 5 will be a hit. But wouldn’t be an even greater hit if it included the new Toyota FT-86 Concept car that everyone is ranting and raving over this week? Well, the good news is, The Toyota FT-86 will be in the GT5 game. The bad news is, GT5 is not out yet. WE may have to wait until after Christmas to get our hands on it but then again, some sources say we will get GT5 beforehand. Someone had to do it, so why not ask a few of my gaming buddies what they think about the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 when put up against Forza Motorsport 3 or vice-versa. Obviously, if you own an Xbox 360 you are partial to Forza Motorsport and then if you own a PS3, then you would naturally take a liking to the Gran Turismo franchise.

Gran Turismo, the racing franchise that helped launch the PlayStation into over-drive and delivered car enthusiasts with a new dynamic outlook on “driving” and pure “entertainment”. The latest to join the lineup in this decade old franchise is Gran Turismo 5. Not the Prologue version that was released over a year ago for the PS3, but the newest installment that will include hundreds of cars and classic tracks such as Trial Mountain.
Top Car Video Games: Which Car Game Is The Best?

Racing and car games are part of the automotive enthusiast culture. If you are 12 years old 18 years old or even 40, you know that there is a presence of racing and car games available to all of us from the old days of Pole Position to the new age racing games of Gran Turismo, Forza, Need for Speed and others. So which modern racing or car game is the best? I will let you decide. Below is a list of current car games, mainly from the racing genre, that I have come up with. If you feel that a major game is missing from the list please inform me through the comments below or our contact us link.
The games that I have selected for the list are mostly composed of ones where you get to drive or race a modern street car instead of a full-fledge racecar. I have tried to keep the list composed of games that are no older than a few years. Although many of these games are offered on more than one gaming system, please judge it based off of the game itself instead of a particular gaming platform.
I will start off the poll by voting for my favorite, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
