Sell-Off of Saturn Brand Accelerated by GM
General Motors Corp.’s Saturn brand will be either sold off or phased out by the end of this year. Earlier announcements said that it would have been at least 2 years before Saturn would technically “go anywhere”.
Saturn’s General Manager, Jill Lajdziak, said the brand, once billed as a different kind of car company, most likely will be sold, given the interest of several buyers who have surfaced. The decision to “off” Saturn this soon was mostly due to all of the talks surfacing of potential buyers. That will allow GM to restructure faster and thus helping to grow the company. Read more…

Some automotive enthusiasts truly think that the Porsche Panamera is not a tuners car or a good-looking sedan. Maybe Jon Sibal had the same thoughts, that could be the reason for him rendering such a masterpiece out of the Porsche Panamera. The guys at speedmotiv.com tipped us off on this artwork via Jon Sibal’s deviantART profile.

Aston Martin took the wraps off of the Aston Martin One-77 at the Concorso d’Eleganza in Lake Como this past weekend. Not only did the One-77 show up, but it won the top design prize at this prestigious event. Below we have a few live images of the Aston Martin One-77 and videos taken with a camera phone.
We wonder if will James Bonds new car after he seriously damaged the last two Aston Martin DBS’s in the two latest 007 films. I also wonder what the “One-77″ means or if it is any correlation to “007″?

BMW M5 vs. Cadillac CTS-V: The 4-Door Duel
MotorWeek’s heavyweight smack-down test video of the BMW M5 up against the new Cadillac CTS-V.
Who comes out on top? Well, you just have to watch the video and find out.
Mind you, the Cadillac has a 6.2 liter V8 with 551 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque and can run 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds. The BMW M5 has a 5.0-liter V10 engine with 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds. Those are just numbers right? Just wait and see… enjoy the video below!

AWD Motorsports built a serious E60 BMW M5 monster. This beast runs 10.57 seconds in the quarter mile. That is pretty serious in my book for a 4-door sports sedan!
You have to see this video! Sit back and go get a paper-towel to wipe the drool off of your face.

Lincoln was listening in 2008 when it first launched the MKZ luxury sedan. It had just enough luxury and elegance to be labeled ‘entry-level’ luxury, and now we have a more refined, truly luxurious and elegant model for 2010.
Increased luxury and power are readily apparent and available in the 2010 Lincoln MKZ, as customers are pampered with signature high-end features and a faster-accelerating and noticeably quieter luxury interior. The 2010 model boasts a wide range of exterior and interior refinements-including premium Bridge of Weir leather-wrapped seats-as well as a new sport version for those customers desiring an even more engaging driving experience.
Salvaged Lamborghini Murcielago at a Local Car Show – Images

Over the weekend I had a chance to go by a car show for the life celebration of a fallen biker that worked at one of the local restaurants in Jacksonville, FL. The owner of the same restaurant, who set up the car show, happens to own a few eye-catching vehicles including 900+hp Toyota Supra Turbo and a 3rd gen RX-7 with a Chevy LS1 engine swap. His vehicles, among others, were major highlights of the show until a blue, or what used-to-be blue, Lamborghini Murcielago pulled up into the parking lot. It immediately drew everyone’s attention because of the way it looked… like no other Lamborghini I had seen. This one was truly different. Sad to say, this poor Murcielago had seen its better days. It was a truly despicable and a very sad sight to see. Come to find out, it is a salvaged Lamborghini Murcielago. To this day, I always thought that when a car of this stature was in an accident, as severe as a “roll-over”, it would be considered totaled-out. What kind of image is this for Lamborghini? Maybe there is a specific reason for rebuilding this car or it could be possible that it did not suffer enough damage to scrap it. But why would you bring it to a car show in this kind of condition?
The good part about this story is they were able to raise money to send to the fallen biker’s family to help pay for previous medical bills accumulated during the time in the hospital.
