Here is where the pricing strategy gets spicy. The ES350e is the least expensive 2026 ES, starting at $48,795, and it sticks with front-wheel drive and 220 horsepower. Lexus says it can deliver up to 300 miles of range, which is an attention-grabber in a segment where range and price are often at odds. The ES350e also offers a Luxury trim at $57,195 for buyers who want more of the traditional Lexus plush factor to go with their plug-in lifestyle.
If all-wheel drive is a must for your EV, Lexus is steering you toward the ES500e. It starts at $51,795 in Premium form and climbs to $60,195 in Luxury trim. You get dual motors and 338 horsepower, but the tradeoff is range, with Lexus claiming 250 miles. Lexus has not locked down an on-sale date yet, but with first drives planned for May, we should have a clearer picture soon of how the hybrid and EV versions feel on the road, and which one makes the most sense for real-world ES buyers.
