‘Wheeler Dealers’ is an interesting U.K. car television show where two guys are on a mission to save repairable auto enthusiast vehicles on a budget and then reselling to a new owner. In one of the recent ‘Wheeler Dealers’ episodes, they set out to find an iconic BMW 8-Series to purchase, fix-up and resale for a profit. Can they do it? Sure but will they choose a none-running BMW 850 with the big V12 engine or a dinged up and leaking BMW 840? The BMW 8-Series is somewhat of an overlooked car now days but remains to be a classic GT sports coupe in the hearts of true automotive enthusiasts.
The 5-part episode of this quest ends up being quite interesting and personally tempting at the same time. It makes me want to go out right now and find myself a BMW 8-Series and dump a couple grand into it but I don’t think I would end up selling it to get my money back like these guys do.
