9ff Porsche Panamera Videos – Whoa, listen to that thing!
The new Porsche Panamera still has to grow on me a bit more before I officially “like” it. The newest creation from Porsche tuner 9ff, the Panamera PT-55, is speeding up that “growing” process for me. If you view the videos below you will understand what I mean. The exhaust sound alone will make you forget about that ugly rear-end and help welcome this new beast into your heart. Not to mention this tuned 4-door Porsche is rated at 550hp!

With all the talk in the press about the Camry as being the best-selling mid-size sedan, not much attention is paid to the full-size version, Toyota’s flagship the Avalon. I’ve tested several Camry’s but never got the chance to drive an Avalon. The news is that the Avalon is a smooth ride, comfortable and roomy for five adults, well appointed with the latest in personal features, and very safe in the event of a collision.

Old School of the Week: Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3-16

I’m not sure if this is typical of car guys but once or twice a week I come across cars from yesteryear that catch my eye and I would like to own. Can I necessarily afford them? Well, no, but it is fun to dream. I’ll spend time researching the car and, of course, examining whatever historic footage I can find on YouTube and looking at pictures.
Well, this past week the car I’ve been looking at is the mid-1980’s Mercedes 190E 2.3-16. Many might not remember the 2.3-16 as it was superseded in time by the very car whose creation it spurred on: The BMW E30 M3. For over two decades the 2.3-16 has lived in the shadows of BMW as the original M3 went on in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s to dominate the European touring car arena. However, the 190E 2.3-16 is a car whose greatness should not be forgotten as it quietly finds its place as a modern classic.
