Ever since the Benz CLS came out it stole my heart. Our partners at Luxury Auto Direct are featuring a Benz CLS55 AMG by MEC Design today. MEC Design has taken the Benz CLS55 AMG to the next level with a new body kit, a few accessories and a “different” style of wheels. I have to be honest, I am not really feeling the look of the wheels but the rest of the car “works” for me.

A Unique One-Off Mercedes-Benz W212 E63 AMG

Luckily one of our good friends owns a E55 AMG and has access to the AMG Private Lounge where he discovered new images of a unique E63 AMG – courtesy of the AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach. He was first tipped off from the many forums that have posted images of this vehicle such as L4p and TeamSpeed. We can only hope that underneath the bright orange exterior is a beastly modified V8 engine to complement the new looks! Hopefully we will have some specs to share with you soon.

MotionLite Illuminates Your Wheels for Everyone to See at Night

Do you remember the old automotive fads where people had neon lights under their car? What about those light-up washer nozzles? Gosh, what in the world were those people thinking? Anyway, there is a new lighting accessory that is soon to catch on called MotionLite. MotionLite is a new product that utilizes retractable LED lighting pointed at the face of your wheels. The MotionLite applications can be configured to change colors and have a strobe effect making your wheels BLING at night. It is claimed as “the world’s first tractable wheel illumination system”.

Ford Posts $2.1 Billion Quarterly Profit

Ford Motor Co. posted a net income of $2.1 billion in the first quarter of this year which is almost twice as much as projected by analysts.

Last year Ford reported a loss of $1.4 billion in one of the worst economic years for the United States. The current revenue rose to $28.1 billion from $24.4 billion. Second quarter productions will be boosted says the automaker.
