In the you-can’t-make-this-stuff-up department comes word that Paris Hilton just got a Lexus LFA for her 30th birthday. The car was a gift from her latest chew toy boyfriend, Las Vegas nightclub owner Cy Waits, and gets added to Hilton’s stable of cars she’ll never possibly appreciate, like her pink Bentley Continental GT or her blue Bentley ragtop. I’m sure Paris has all the skills necessary to stay out of trouble in a 560 horsepower, 202 mile per hour supercar; after all, she hasn’t had an accident (or a drug charge) in months!
Her birthday gift is in yellow (for now), so let’s hope she doesn’t get this sprayed Mary-Kay-pink to match her Bentley. I suspect there may be trouble in paradise, since Waits apparently didn’t love her enough to spring for a Nürburgring Edition LFA, which is $70,000 pricier and even more exclusive. Lexus is building 450 LFAs, but only 50 ‘Ring editions, and “1 of 50” says I love you a whole lot more than “1 of 450”. Maybe she’ll get a ‘Ring edition for Christmas, assuming she doesn’t bin the birthday LFA first. I say it’s just a question of “when”, not “if”.
Also, don’t forget that you can get discounted new car pricing with a free quote through qualified local dealer partners.
