The Nissan Z has been a thriving Japanese 2-seater sports coupe for many years. The latest 370Z, over the course of its generation, has received subtle styling updates making it better and better. For 2013, the Nissan 370Z receives a refreshed front fascia taking it back to somewhat of the 350Z’s style only integrating daytime running LED lights and a few more curves. Together, the new front-end design is welcomed aspect of the 2013 model especially since the 370Z’s outgoing front bumper with its fangs was not well received by some enthusiasts.

‘PURE SPORTS CAR THRILLS’
I recently tested the new 2011 Nissan 370Z roadster with the Touring and Sport packages and it is once again one of the best two-seat sports cars for fun-in-the-sun driving thrills on the market. The new 2011 370Z roadster was equipped for the perfect combination of thrills and personal comfort. It featured the Touring and Sport packages, plus the new Gun Metallic paint, Bordeaux color with the wine colored interior, new navigation package, six-speed manual with SynchroRev Match, and the NISMO Performance brake pad option. The standard 370Z roadster plus these new options make the model I tested one of the worlds most exciting and pleasurable to drive two seat roadster’s on the market.

Nissan pulled out all of the magic tricks from their hat when it came to building capable performance cars starting with the 370Z and ending with the GT-R. Aside from the new 2012 Nissan GT-R’s astonishing performance capacity, Nissan has trickled down some of that performance oriented innovation to their latest “tuned” Z-car, the 2011 Nissan 370Z Nismo.

‘PURE SPORTS CAR FUN AND EXCITEMENT’
The 2010 Nissan 370Z is pure sports car fun and excitement. It comes with bold sports car looks, plenty of power, glued to the road handling capability, and a cockpit befitting its excellent specs. It has it all at a reasonable price. I tested the 370Z with the Sport package and was very impressed with its power and performance. All new in model year 2009, the 2010 version of the 370Z continues to win over sports car minded consumers throughout the world.

A while back we spent a week with a 2009 Nissan Nismo 370Z and it was a blast. Driving characteristics of the Nismo 370Z are better than the normal 370Z and giant leaps over the outgoing 350Z. The Nismo edition of the 370Z adds sport tuned suspension, a higher rev limit, a nice looking body kit, Rays forged 19 inch wheels, and a total of 350 horsepower from the 3.7-liter VQ-series V6.

This is absolutely remarkable, a transparent car that you can see how the oil works inside of the engine. Shell really did this, no CGI, no tricks and no shortcuts. This was done to “clearly” demonstrate how oil flows through the engine. Check out the video below and enjoy!

Anyone can make a “special edition” vehicle right? All they do is take the original model and slap on a few extras like 19-inch Rays forged wheels, bigger brakes and nifty red leather trim with red stitching throughout the cabin. Well, that is exactly what Nissan is doing with a 6-speed manual 370Z Touring edition sport package, turning it into the 40th Anniversary Special Edition 370Z.
